Alan Guerrero was born on November 14, 1987 in Torreon, Coahuila. At age 8, began in childhood baseball in the Colonia Sertoma Park Garden Tower, at 14 years old was signed by the Nuevo Laredo Owls and four years later he made his debut in the Mexican League with the Tijuana Colts .
In 2009 he joined the Broncos in Reynosa and quickly became his "Closer" star, saving 22 games, with merit enough to attend the All-Star Game.
In 2010 he was hired by the Guasave Cotton in the Pacific, reaching the final. In the playoff, saved four games and won a game.
